Credit card fraud protection suggestion #1:
I know that you get a lot of e-mails,
but I think this one will be beneficial to your readers.
I wanted to let you know (if you don't already) that Citibank offers their customers
Virtual Account Numbers.
The major benefit of this is that it's a randomly generated credit card number,
expiration date, and even CSC that can be used only one time.
I'm just a customer of theirs and have used it a lot.
Thanks for the great newsletter,

Credit card fraud protection suggestion #2:
Just a quick note about the latest
issue concerning credit card fraud.
Using your credit card to make a transaction over the phone may not be safe
because some business use portable telephones.
While your "land line" may be safe, the base unit of their phone is
broadcasting the call.
An article in a HAM radio magazine said there are lots of people who have a
hobby of listening to scanners and they keep diaries of what different people
say over the phone - most are just innocent busybodies, but some will use the
info.
They say despite the phones supposedly having a range of only about 700', a
person in an apartment 50' or more up can listen in on phones up to a mile away!
They know all about the person's personal life, medical condition, bank accounts,
family - whatever people say on the phone.
The article warns you should never
say anything over a portable phone that you would not say in a crowded elevator.

Credit card fraud protection suggestion #3:
Regarding Credit Card Fraud...
Consumers must watch swipe readers with displays to Insure that they do not
display the credit card number... If the reader does display the number, you
should request that the merchant position the display so that a photo can not
be taken of the number as the transaction takes place.
Just FYI...
